The license allows you to install the program on up to three computers. EndNote can be used on an iPad. If you synchronize your EndNote library, you can access it from different devices.
EndNote Web is a free variant. You can create an account online and save your references in the cloud. Install an add-on to Word, Cite While Your Write, to insert citations and reference lists in your documents.
