About translated works

Information about translator is not mandatory and can be omitted. If you still want to include translator you do that after the title and add "translator" after the name.

  • Edition is added starting with the second edition.

Comments

  • Printed and electronic articles follow the same format. If you have an ID-number, like a DOI-numer or PMID-number you can add that last in the reference list entry. 

  • Use the journal's abbreviated title (according to PubMed/Medline) if it has one.
