Register, publish and manage records in DiVA

Link to publications in DiVA

When linking to publications in DiVA, use the permanent links generated for the publications when they are registered. The reason for this is that if you copy links from your browser's URL field, the link will not work once DiVA re-indexes (which occurs on an ongoing basis).

Follow these steps to link to a single publication in DiVA:

  1. Perform a search in DiVA
  2. From the list of results, go to the publication you want to link to
  3. Click on Link to record
  4. Copy the permanent link (urn:nbn link)

Create a list of publications for a web page or for exporting to Excel

In DiVA, it is possible to export lists in different formats, for example to create a list of publications for a web page or for further processing in Excel. This is done by creating a search query combining different search fields.

Specify fields to be included in the search

Start by going to Create feeds in DiVA. Then follow these steps:

Create query

A number of search fields are predefined in this section, such as person (author) and title.

In addition to these, there is a drop-down list with the condition AND (narrows the search), as well as buttons for OR (broadens the search) and NOT (excludes from the search). These three conditions can be used to combine search fields. In the drop-down list, you can select from all search fields.

Limit the search

The second section contains fields that can be used to further narrow down the search, for example publication type and year of publication.

The third section of the search form, "Choose format and sort order ", allows you to specify the format, the number of results (maximum 9999) to be included in the search and how the results are sorted.

Examples of available formats and their use
