In the IEEE style, journal titles are usually abbreviated. If you don't know the abbreviation of a journal title, try searching for the journal in Web of Science Journal Title Abbreviations. Click on the first letter of the journal in question and use Ctrl + F to search for the journal in the list.

Printed and electronic journal articles follow the same format. If you have an ID number for the article, such as a DOI number you can add it to the end of the reference.
Use the abbreviated form of the journal title if it has one.
If an article has an article number instead of page numbers, add it after the year. See [5] above.
