DiVA for Students

This guide describes how you as a student can register your thesis in DiVA.

Before registering your thesis in DiVA

In order to make your thesis publicly available in DiVA, you need to be affiliated with a department that has decided to publish its student theses there. See departments and their contact details

Keep the following in mind when registering your thesis in DiVA

  • The version you upload should be the final approved paper.
  • The paper must be uploaded in PDF format.
  • If you use other authors' images, diagrams, tables, etc. in your paper, you should ensure that you have the right to publish them. Read more about images and copyright.
  • If there are multiple authors of the paper, they must all agree to the paper being published in DiVA.
  • If other people are named in your paper, you need their consent before publishing the paper in DiVA. This applies, for example, if you have interviewed someone. If in doubt, check with your supervisor.
  • If you have included your personal identity number in your paper, remove it from the full text before uploading it for publication.
