Qualitative data analysis (QDA)

Qualitative data analysis is the close study of text, image, audio and video. Some tools are suitable for a certain type of data, while others can be used for several types of qualitative research data.

The library offers support in using free tools such as Taguette and QualCoder, as well as NVivo, a licensed software. We can also guide you when choosing between different software.

Recogito

Recogito
Tool used to annotate texts or images with locations, names or free text tags. Connected to multiple geographic standard vocabularies such as GeoNames. You can generate a map directly or export the data. The tool is open source and created by Pelagios Commons.
