- Treat the name of the account that uploaded the video as the author.
- If it is important for the reader to know you should explain in te text if the account did not create the video, However, if the source seems unauthoritative, it is probably better to look for the original YouTube channel, official website, or other social media to check if the video is available there in stead.
- If you wish to cite individuals featured in a video you should name or describe them in your text and then include a parenthetical citation for the video.
- Include the specific date when the video was uploaded.
- Provide the description “[Video]” in square brackets after the title.
- Provide the site name (YouTube) and URL of the video.
