Comments

  • List the host(s) of the podcast episode as the author. Another alternative is to list the executive producers, if known. Either way you should specify their role in parentheses after the name.
  • Provide the specific date on which the podcast episode first aired.
  • After the title you should provide the episode number in parenthesis.   If the podcast does not have numbered episodes you can leave out the number. Do not italicize the episode title or the episode number.
  • Specify the type of podcast episode in square brackets, for example: [Audio podcast episode], [Video podcast episode].
  • Write the word “In” before the title of the podcast. The title of the podcast should be in italics but not the word "In".
  • In general you should include URL at the end of the reference list entry. However if the URL is unknown (eg. accessed through an app) you leave out URL. See example from Spotify.
